Gasparilla Music Festival Announces 2018 Lineup Featuring The Roots, Father John Misty and Spoon

Gasparilla Music Festival is back for its seventh installment! Today, they have announced part of the lineup for their festival which takes place on March 11th and 12th at the Curtis Hixon Park in downtown Tampa.

The Roots, Spoon and Father John Misty will headline the festival. The Roots have become household names with their work on The Tonight Show boosting their already acclaimed musical history. If fans are lucky they will perform their iconic hits “The Seed,” and “You Got Me.” If fans are even luckier, Erykah Badu will be on hand to sensually sing the chorus of latter song. Father John Misty will perform his latest work from Pure Comedy. The indie rock album is his most politically charged to date. Fellow indie rockers, Spoon, will also perform songs from their latest album Hot Thoughts.

In addition to the headlines, Mondo Cozmo, Break Science, the Cave Singers, the War and Treaty, Kolars and Eric Tessmer Band will perform. Imagination Movers will headline the children’s portion of the festival as well. According to Tampa Bay Times, there will be at least 30 more acts announced in January. Tickets are on sale now at their website.
