Guided by Voices Announces New Album Space Gun for March 2018 Release

Guided by Voices has announced an upcoming album Space Gun, which will be released March 23, 2018. This follows the release of two albums this year, including August by Cake, and performing at OctFest Festival.

According to Pitchfork, this album will pass Robert Pollard’s 100th album, which was August by Cake. The album was written partially while on the tour that supported the last album. This album was inspired by the band’s new touring lineup, to which it was stated with “Pollard has acknowledged that this line-up’s adroit talents pushes him to more daring and dizzying heights.”

Space Gun is described by the band as “the fullest realization of Pollard’s song talents, with the band firing on all cylinders.” This album contains 15 songs, with the album titled single that has been released recently. The tracklist is listed below.
