Two of Europe’s biggest Metal bands are set to tour together this February into March from coast to coast. As The PRP reports, Greek death metal band Septicflesh and Swedish black metal group Dark Funeral, known as the “ineffable kings of black metal,” will join forces for a two month tour, also joined by Thy Alchemist.
“Septicflesh return to North America in Feb / March 2018 to support their critically acclaimed new album ‘Codex Omega,'” reads the official announcement from Septicflesh’s Facebook page, “with them, the swedish lords of the black Dark Funeral will co bill the event to make it one of the most memorable packages to hit the North America in very long time, also supporting the tour is black metal Colombian/Texan outfit THY ANTICHRIST…are you mortals ready?”
Lord Ahrimen of Dark Funeral also promoted the tour on their Facebook page, stating: “It’s been 5 years since we last toured the US. A lot of things have happened since then, but most importantly. We have released a new and absolutely killer album entitled ‘Where Shadows Forever Reign’ (©2016 Century Media/Sony)! Along with our friends in Septicflesh & Thy Antichrist it’s going to be nothing but EPIC to bring this co-headlining tour throughout the US. Be there!!!”
