Pedro The Lion Announces Winter 2018 Tour Dates

Indie rock fans rejoiced earlier this year when David Bazan announced the reunion of the legendary Seattle band Pedro the Lion, and they can rejoice yet again as Bazan has announced a full set of tour dates in 2018. At first the group only had announced 2 dates this year, one in Seattle and one in Portland, and when those quickly sold out they added a couple more, and then a couple more.

Now Pedro the Lion have given us the full itinerary for tour dates that will span from January until August, playing most major cities. It has been 11 years since Bazan dissolved the project (as he was the only consistent member) to focus on a solid solo career, however earlier this year he began to feel the itch to play in a band again, and thus we have another new incarnation of Pedro the Lion.

From their formation in 1996 until their breakup 10 years later, Pedro the Lion was one of the hottest bands in the indie rock underground, with Bazan gaining critical acclaim for his poetic, Christian-influenced lyrics and concept driven albums. While drummer Sean Lane will be playing drums on the trek, no more lineup announcements have been made as of yet.
