Thanks to a successful first go-around, Las Rageous Festival will return to downtown Las Vegas this year. The rock/metal festival, sponsored by Live Nation, will be held at Downtown Las Vegas Events Center. At least nineteen bands will perform on the two stages over the course of two days (April 20th-21st).
Last year over sixteen notable groups came out including Of Mice and Men Killswitch Engage, Anthrax, Mastodon, Avenged Sevenfold and Breaking Benjamin. This year day one will be dominated by, A Perfect Circle, who just released new single titled, “The Doomed“. APC vocalist, Maynard James Keenan says that the band is, “Looking forward to playing material from the new A Perfect Circle release at Las Rageous. Bringing new songs to life in a live setting is always exciting.” The single is their first song since 2013, and the album is set to release sometime in 2018. They will be joined by the theatric group Ghost, in addition to metal groups such as Atreyu Underoath and Beartooth.
All the little piggies better watch out for Day two since the day will kick off with hard rockers Bad Wolves and blues rockers Joyous Wolves. These rockers are gonna blow the house down. The legendary band Judas Priest and the punk rock band Hollywood Dead will also make appearances. Day two will culminate with a performance from Las Vegas locals, Five Finger Death Punch. The band just released their greatest hits album this past week.
Returning festival attendees will be ale to purchase tickets December 6th with a special code. Presale tickets will go out the following day (December 7th) for those who sign up for Las Rageous email list online or on air at KOMP-FM. General tickets and VIP will be available on December 8th at 10 AM Pacific Time. Interested guests better act fast! There are only 10,000 tickets available for the all-age event, and prices are expected to go up after the initial release!
UPDATE (3/14): Ghost have dropped off of the bill for Las Rageous 2018 and been replaced by punk rock band A Day To Remember. The band issued a statement regarding the cancellation, though it doesn’t provide much insight into why they weren’t able to make the festival.
The statement reads: “Due to unforeseen production delays, Ghost regretfully will not be able to appear at the Las Rageous festival next month in Las Vegas, NV. We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to seeing our friends in Las Vegas very soon.”
The band will still embark on their Spring 2018 tour, which is titled Rats! On The Road.
