Following the release of their upcoming seventh album All At Once, punk rock outfit Screaming Females will head back on the road for a winter tour. Guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Marisa Paternoster and co. are joined by Baton Rouge metal band Thou and Philly punks HIRS, for the tour, depending on the venue.
With their tour announcement, Screaming Females also released a new song called “Deeply” from All At Once, with a lyric video, where the band paints and repaints the song’s lyrics on a white wall. Paternoster got permission from music venue The Black Sheep Cafe in Springfield, IL to paint lyrics on the side of its wall for the video.
“’Deeply’ was originally demoed entirely by [King] Mike,” Paternoster told The Fader. “We tried to emulate the style he had in the original demo, but it wasn’t really working, I so I took some very dramatic liberties with the feel of the song and the slow, dirgey incarnation is what made the album cut.”
All At Once will be released on February 23 via Don Giovanni Records, and marks the band’s first record since 2015’s Rose Mountain.
