British rockers Rolo Tomassi just announced a new project. The new LP Time Will Die and Love Will Bury It, will be out March 2nd.
The band’s very own James Spence spoke on the album a little bit. “The title [of the album] was taken from a print a friend of ours had made in tribute to a poem by Richard Brautigan,” he says. “I knew straight away it’s what I wanted to call the album. Following something like Grievances, which was quite monochromatic, I felt this title had a lot more optimism and colour to it which is how I wanted the music to sound.”
According to Spence, the title was the driving force behind the album, before any music was ever created. “I had the title before we’d even started thinking about writing music and I used it as sort of a brief for how I thought a record with that title should sound.”
