Monster Energy Welcome to Rockville will once again return to Florida this April for their 8th annual festival. The festival will be held from April 27th to April 29th, at Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville. This will be the first year that the festival is three days long.
Promoters have just released the line up for the three day long affair. The Foo Fighters will continue their hot and heavy festival run on the last day with performances of Concrete and Gold along with older classics. Fellow CalJam performers, Queens of the Stone Age will also be in attendance to play songs off their latest album, Villains. Metal band, Avenged Sevenfold will perform songs from The Stage. Iconic rock band/musician, Ozzy Osbourne will undoubtfully rock the venue with show-stopping performances of hits like, “Crazy Train.” According to the flyer, there is one undisclosed band that will perform on Saturday. With a already jam-packed lineup, it is unclear who else the promoters have rounded up to perform.
In supplement to the addition of the third day, creator Danny Wimmer, has added RV camping options for guests. Like past years, the festival will continue to host a variety of exquisite food and beverage options along with onsite experiences like the Monster Energy experience, The music Experience, the FYE Fan Experience, Zippo and Take Me Home. Tickets are on sale now at their website. Fans can opt for VIP or general admission and single day or 3 day passes.
