Wilco, who has made Reissues of A.M. and Being There and has covered Tom Petty’s “The Waiting”, has revealed “Myrna Lee” which was a unreleased song. This unreleased song is from the A.M. sessions.

In 1955, Jeff Tweedy’s former band Uncle Tupelo broke up and he quickly recorded A.M. According to Stereogum, Wilco’s John Stirratt, who also wrote the song,  sings lead on the song. This song shows how country the band was during that portion of their history, as they were trying to get out of the alternative country stage.

The band expresses the genre through different instrumentals like acoustic guitar. The song can be listened to below.
