The renown singer Amy Lee of Evanescence was recently awarded more than one million dollars in legal fees, following a lawsuit brought against her by her former management company 110 Management Inc.

The corporation sued Lee last year, with accusations that she had not properly paid the company with all commissions and fees necessary. The original suit sought to recover $1.5 million from the singer, but was eventually lowered to $335,000. After a lengthy arbitration process, the arbitrator finally ruled that the management company was owed a measly sum of $4,863.66.

In response, Lee asked the court to award her attorney fees from 110 for the unnecessarily lengthy legal battle that ended up not achieving anything of worth. Agreeing that she got roped in to a frivolous legal battle, the judge awarded her with $1,036,773.68. However, with $885,000 of it going towards legal fees and $72,000 going towards an expert witness and other administrative costs, Lee pretty much broke even after the whole ordeal.
