Billy Corgan Covers Miley Cyrus Song “Wrecking Ball”

Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan has covered one of Miley Cyrus’ most popular tracks on her hit album Bangerz called “Wrecking Ball,” and it’s the cover nobody knew they needed but are now grateful to have. The singer performed the song during an encore at his show in Toronto on Friday Oct. 20. The song was recorded during the performance, and now an official cover is published on YouTube. Check out the song below and the images that accompany it. If you’ve ever tried to picture Billy Corgan’s head onto Miley Cryus’ body, it’s your lucky day.

The singer just released his second studio album entitled Ogilala this month. He was also on Howard Stern’s show this October, where he discussed his feud with CNN anchor Anderson Cooper and his relationship with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.

This month he performed a tribute to David Bowie during one of his shows, and he sang Smashing Pumpkin’s “Sweet Sweet” from their classic 1993 album Siamese Dream during show in September, for the first time in 23 years.
