As reported by ThePRP and Komonews, The Polish heavy-metal band Decapitated have entered a not-guilty plea yesterday to the charges of kidnapping and raping a woman on their tour bus after a concert this summer in Washington. Each member is currently being held on $100,000 bail and have reached denied the allegations that they invited a woman onto a tour bus last summer and then assaulted her in the restroom.
Lead singer Rafal Piotrowski, along with band members Hubert Wiecek, Waclaw Kieltyka and Michal Lysejko didn’t say very much during their court appearance, other than entering their pleas. A Polish interpreter was apparently explaining the courtroom proceedings over speakerphone yesterday.
If you don’t remember the allegations in particular, According to court documents, Two women told the investigators they were asked to go onto the tour bus after the band’s performance in downtown Spokane on August 31st of this year. One of the woman said that after talking with the band, she went into a bathroom on the tour bus, where she was grabbed and raped by each member of the band.
The current charges being faced by the band members include:
Vocalist Rafal “Rasta” Piotrowski – first-degree kidnapping/second-degree rape
Guitarist Waclaw Kieltyka – first-degree kidnapping/second-degree rape
Bassist Hubert Wiecek – first-degree kidnapping/third-degree rape
Drummer Michal Lysejko – first-degree kidnapping/third-degree rape
In addition to the 100,000 dollar bail, each member of the band was forced to give over their passport.
