St. Vincent Releases Japanese Edition Bonus Track “Power Corrupts”

Following the release of St. Vincent’s fifth studio album MASSEDUCTION on Friday, the singer decided to give fans something little extra to get excited about. On the night she dropped her album, St. Vincent also released a bonus track from the Japanese adaptation of the album on YouTube entitled “政権腐敗” meaning “Power Corrupts.” The song is a re-adaptation of the album’s title track “Masseduction.” Featured on the track is the acclaimed Japanese musician Toko Yasuda with Annie Clark singing the chorus. Earlier this month, the singer released a brand new song called “Pills” featuring Kamasi Washington, Jenny Lewis and Cara Delevingne, after she debuted it during show in Los Angeles.

On a major roll, she also dropped a new music video backed by RedBull entitled “Los Ageless,” which was directed by the acclaimed Willo Perron. Catch St. Vincent at the Day for Night festival in mid December this year alongside The Jesus Lizard and Nine Inch Nails.
