Killswitch Engage Announce Joint Winter 2018 Tour Dates With Anthrax Titled Killthrax II

Just because you co-headlined one of the hottest metal touring packages of the year doesn’t mean you can call it a day and relax. No, you get up and do it all over again and that is exactly what two of metal favorites are doing. Killswitch Engage and Anthrax have announced today that they are hitting the road for a second time with “KillThrax II.” The second showing will hit 29 North American cities, the ones that missed out during the first go around and will be presented by SiriusXM. It will kick off January 25th in Montreal, Canada and will zigzag across the continent ending up in Portland, ME on March 4th.

It has been revealed that Havoc will be their opening act during the whole tour.

Frank Bello from Anthrax expressed that, “After playing so many amazing shows last year with our friends Killswitch Engage, I’m psyched for round two of KillThrax, and we’re adding Havok to the heaviness!!”

Jesse Leach, the singer of Killswitch Engage added, “We are looking forward to the next leg of the ‘KillThrax’ tour. We had a blast on the first one and we enjoyed sharing the stage with the humble legends Anthrax!  There is such a synergy between the two bands and a certain unity that is infectious, so it was a no brainer to put this package back together and hit the road. It’s an honor and we are excited for these shows, the fans, and the good times! KillThrax is gearing up for round two, so let’s keep the party rolling!”

Just like their first tour together, Killswitch Engage and Anthrax will rotate the show’s closing slot on Killthrax II. Like any other show, fans can expect a rollercoaster of emotions and according to one reviewer who called the show, “an incredible night of live music with heavy hitters that provided hours of escape into metal bliss.”
