Zedd @ Aragon Ballroom (10/12)

While at the height of his fame, after several hits, albums, and memorable collaborations, the remarkable Zedd embarks on his 2017 Echo Tour. Tonight, he stops by the Aragon Ballroom to rock the stage and thrill his fans with the help of Grey and Lophiile.

While almost everyone knows him as Zedd, the Grammy winning, hit making, electro-house DJ and producer, there are some that know him by his birth name, Anton Zaslavski. Although he was born in Russia, Anton grew up in Germany after his family relocated there when he was young. He was born to two musicians, a guitarist and a piano instructor, so of course music has always been a part of his life. Starting off with the piano, and then the drums, he soon evolved into a developed musician. He then began playing in bands and eventually stumbled upon electronic music, fell in love, and has not turned back since. He soon took on the stage name Zedd, a name that has since gained fame, as well as many accolades and awards along the way.

There is a distinct sound to Zedd’s music. His production always shines through on records, and one can easily spot one of his tracks on the radio or in a club. This is one of the strengths of the experimental electro-house producer. His music is well known for rushes of dreamy vocals with relatable lyrics, that form into non-stop adrenaline drops of pounding bass and melodic synths. Zedd stays true to this formula in his most successful, and biggest songs. To date, the most notable hits from the producer include “Stay” with Alessia Cara, and “Clarity” featuring Foxes. Both records charted in the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, and “Clarity” earned Zedd a Grammy for Best Dance Recording in 2014. Look for him to ignite the crowd tonight with these must-plays, as well as some of his other concert bangers such as, “Stay The Night” featuring Hayley Williams from Paramore, “Beautiful Now” with Jon Bellion, as well as “I Want You To Know” with Selena Gomez.

But Zedd doesn’t stop at originals. He is also renowned for his electronic remixes of popular songs. So, expect anything to happen at the Aragon tonight. You won’t want to miss the opportunity to sing along to hit songs, while simultaneously getting an adrenaline rush that makes you want to get up and dance.
