Loudwire Music Awards Concert Announces Their Headlining Artists Including Avenged Sevenfold, Power Trip, and In This Moment

With the Loudwire Music Awards only weeks away, it was just announced that Avenged Sevenfold will be headlining the Los Angeles concert. With album after album of successes that consistently raised the stakes, it makes sense for the M. Shadows fronted band to be given some props this way.

Shadows said himself “We are excited to celebrate a night of heavy metal with all of our friends. We hope to see everyone there.”

The bill not only includes A7X, but also In This Moment, the alternative gothic metal outfit that is world renown for their explosive and dramatic live shows. “We are very excited to be a part of the Loudwire Music Awards this year,” added frontwoman Maria Brink. “We have a big surprise in store for everyone watching! Get ready for the Black Wedding!”

There are a variety of other bands that will be performing at the October 24th event, including legendary acts like Anthrax, Halestorm, Power Trip, Ice-T’s Bodycount, Nothing More and Starset, as well as special performances by Dave Mustaine, Rob Halford and Jamey Jasta.

The Loudwire Music Awards this year will be honoring several different legends in the industry. Sammy Hagar will receive the Humanitarian Award at the ceremony, Halford will be honored with “the Lemmy” Lifetime Achievement Award and Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi is receiving the Courage Award.

Fozzy frontman and WWE superstar Chris Jericho is the Loudwire Music Awards host, while presenters include Zakk Wylde, Steve Vai, Vinnie Paul, John 5, Rex Brown, Brendon Small, Brian Posehn, Chuck Billy, Alex Skolnick, members of As Lions, August Burns Red, Avatar, Beartooth, Butcher Babies, Crown the Empire, Ded, Demon Hunter, Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes, Hellyeah, Hollywood Undead, Ice Nine Kills, Huntress, L.A. Guns, New Years Day, Of Mice & Men, Pop Evil, Powerflo, Prayers, Quiet Riot, Red Fang, Royal Thunder, Steel Panther, Stitched Up Heart, Sum 41, Sylar, Wage War and many more.

Hours before the LMAs, there will be a “Hard Rock & Heavy Metal Summit” at the GRAMMY Museum next door. Panels will feature Rob Halford, Sammy Hagar, Rex Brown, Steve Vai, Frank Bello and more. The “Hard Rock & Heavy Metal Summit” is free and open to the public; however, seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
