The Adicts Announce New Album And It Was So! for November 2017 Release

The Adicts have announced that this November, they will release a new album. The Adicts first arrived on the punk scene in the late 1970s and made their mark with their high-energy performances, uptempo songs and impeccable costumes based on A Clockwork Orange‘s Droog characters. The band consists of Monkey on Vocals, Pete Dee on Lead Guitar, Kid Dee on Drums, and High Strom on Rhythm guitar. The four eccentric personalities came together in 1975 in England and began recording music independently. Despite their lack of label affiliation, the band was able to make the charts by 1982 with their second album, Sound of Music. After that, their music began to seep into American culture as well.

On November 17th, the band will release their 11th studio album via Nuclear Blast in the US and Arising Empire in Europe and the UK. The band has already released their first single, “Picture the Scene,” on a 7″ vinyl for 1000 fans worldwide. The rest of the album is currently available for presale on their website, iTunes, and Amazon as well. The album will be available in CD Jewel, White Vinyl (limited to 500), Clear with Orange Splatter Vinyl (limited to 500), White Cassette (limited to 200) and as a package deal (CD+T Shirt+poster+buttons). The band will also tour the album beginning October 11th. There are only two chances to catch the band in the US-the rest of the tour takes place in Germany, France, Spain, The Netherlands, Switzerland and England.
