70000 Tons Of Metal Cruise Festival Announces 2018 Lineup Featuring Sepultura, Rhapsody, and Enslaved

70000 Tons of Metal Cruise Festival announces their lineup for their 2018 event. This year’s lineup includes Sepultura, who have released Chaos A.D. and Roots remastered, Rhapsody, and Enslaved, who have release a music video for “Storm Son“.

The festival is a heavy metal music festival that’s held once a year on a cruise ship. The idea of the festival was created and organized by Andy Pillrt in 2006. It took about four years to get the festival proposal set up. Previous artists that have performed are Angent Steel, Atheist and 3 Inches of Blood.

This years lineup includes  Aeternam, Alestorm, Benediction, Cannibal Corpse, Dark Tranquility, Die Apokalyptischen Reiter, Enslaved, Goaf Whore, Gyze, Jn Exzremo, Insomnium, Korpiklaani, Kreator, Meshuggah, Metal Church, Necrophobic, Obsruba, October Tide, Primal Fear, Rhapsody, Samael, Septicflesh, Sepultura, Sonata Arctica, Swallow The Sun, Wolfchant, Wolfheart.

70000 Tons of Metal Cruise Festival will be sailing from Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale near Miami on February 1st through February 5th. According to Loudwire, from the initial point, the cruise will be going Grand Turk.  The cruise has said to bring 120 live performances, signing sessions, album premieres and more. There will be shore excursions like dune buggy safari, snorkeling and kayaking. Tickets are available on the festival’s website.
