Neko Case has just released a 2018 schedule for her solo tour. Case has been touring with her band The New Pornographers over the past year. The band recently released their seventh studio album, Whiteout Conditions. According to Brooklyn Vegan, before Case hits the road alone in January, she will continue touring with her band through the middle of October. Case will be joined by Mt. Joy, an up-and-coming Indie band from Philadelphia. Case will begin the tour in Massachusetts, and finish in Illinois, hitting Connecticut, Vermont, Rhode Island, New York, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina,, South Carolina and Kentucky along the way.

There is no indication whether Case will release new music before the tour. Her most recent solo album is the 2013 release The Worse Things Get, The Harder I Fight, the Harder I Fight, the More I Love You. Along with her work in the band The New Pornographers, Case has also recently formed collaborative super group with k.d. lang and Laura Viers. case/lang/viers released an album June 17th in 2016. Perhaps Case’s tour will be a mix of her own songs, and her two bands’ work as well.
