Bleached Skateboard Like Garage-Punks in New Video for “Turn To Rage”

Bleached, the Californian garage-punk band that consists of sisters Jennifer Clavin and Jessica Clavin, formerly of Mika Miko, and Micayla Grace have released their Can You Deal? EP earlier this year. To support the EP even further, the band have just unveiled a new music for one of their tracks, “Turn To Rage,” which appears on the record.

The black and white video features pro skaters Randy Beres, Noah Wilson, Rick Fabro, Ronnie Sandoval, and Robbie Russo as they do amazing tricks with their boards. “Turn To Rage” is directed by Rye Beres and Nick Green, and the music video has a skater documentary feel to it with its black and white images. In the clip, fans follow the skaters on a typical California day as they drive to a skate park before displaying the incredible things that they can do on their boards.

There’s not really a story here but just a group of friends doing what they love to do; skate. The band also appears in the music video just briefly as the group of skaters pass them by but it’s not about them. “Turn To Rage” also  features painful falls and altercations with security guards. It is pure fun that should be watched. After watching the music video, one might be prompted to get on a board and find the nearest skate park.

The four track ep, Can You Deal? Ep follows the band’s sophomore album, 2016’s well-received Welcome the Worms. The EP is available to purchase through Dead Oceans.
