Cavalera Conspiracy Announce New Album Psychosis for November 2017 Release

According to ThePRP, Cavalera Conspiracy are due for a new album, titled Psychosis, on November 17th of this year. The album will be released by Napalm Records and produced by Arthur Rizk. Rizk has notably produced albums for metal bands Power Trip and Inquisition.

The death/thrash metal band is comprised of Brazilian brothers Max and Igor Cavalera (vocals/ guitar and drums respectively) from the band Sepultura, Marc Rizzo (guitar) from the band Soulfly and Joe Duplantier from the band Gojira. They formed in 2006, and have released three studio albums thus far. Their last album, Pandemonim, came out in 2014.

Max and Igor have released a video with some details on the impending album. They have revealed that Justin Broadrick, from the band Godflesh, will be featured on the album. They also noted how impressed they were with Rizk’s innovative and sharp production style.

A lot of work has been spent writing the songs, which accounts for the the three year hiatus since their last album. In addition to writing, Max and Igor have spend time over the last year touring to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of their previous band, Sepultura. The brothers left the band in 1996 and 2006 respectively.

The brothers will return on the music scene with their Cavalera Conspiracy bandmates in November for the release of their fourth album. The track list for the album is listed below.
