Desertfest Announces 2018 Lineup Featuring Eyehategod, Monster Magnet and Nebula

Desertfest has announced their 2018 lineup that will be held from May 4th to 6th  at venues across Camden in London. This event’s lineup includes Eyehategod, an American sludge metal band who recently finished a summer tour, Monster Magnet, an American rock band, and Nebula, an American rock band .

Desertfest in London first became a thought by Reece Tee and Jake Farey from the company Desertscene. They decided to create DesertFest after gaining experience from the promotions of different festivals in the UK. The first festival took place from April 6th to 8th in 2012. The festival is mainly known for the genres rock, doom, psych and sludge. Previous artists that have performed are Karma to Burn, Greenleaf and Iron Claw.

The current lineup are Monster Magnet, Nebula, EyeHateGod, Jex Thoth, Planet of Zeus, Black Moth, and The Back Wizards. The tickets for the festival are available on the festival’s website. Tickets range from 110 pounds to 1100 pounds depending on the hotel accommodation that could be needed. The flyer is shown below.

According to Team Rock, the organizers have stated “After the festival’s most successful year to date a mere six months ago, which saw the prestigious Roundhouse being added to the list of venues, and in turn selling out, it’s time to raise the stakes again. The 2018 proceedings will see more venues, more outdoor space, more merchandise, more bars and even more bands. There is a lot to be revealed, but for now here’s the initial instalment of riff-filled goodness to get your gears going.”
