Metalcore pioneers Hatebreed have been around since 1994 and have released 7 studio albums to date, including their most recently The Concrete Confessional on May 13, 2016. The band have defined what it means to bang your head when they released their first full-length, the modern hardcore classic Satisfaction Is the Death of Desire, back in November of 1997. Since then, they have been unstoppable.
20 years since their debut, the band have made a hardcore name out of themselves serving as pure legends in the metal world. They seem to never stop rocking out and have remained road warriors, touring constantly while sharing stages from Slipknot to Slayer and performing as top headliners on multiple festivals.
Now closing the end of the 2017 year, Hatebreed are setting the course for a brand new headlining tour which will hit the road this fall. While on the road, The band will be celebrating two of their most impactful albums – Satisfaction is the Death of Desire and Perseverance. They will be performing a majority of songs from both albums as well as fan favorites from Hatebreed’s entire discography.
Frontman of Hatebreed, Jamey Jasta had this to say about the upcoming tour: “Sometimes it’s good to look back just to see how far you’ve come. There’s about four-five songs off of Satisfaction Is the Death of Desire and about six or seven off of Perseverance that we rarely play, so we’ve hit the rehearsal room and dusted off a killer batch of songs and deep cuts that we’ll blast your eardrums with this fall. Come celebrate not one but two anniversaries with us!”
Today, they have announced their supporting acts that will embark on this fall tour alongside them. These acts include Kublai Khan and Shattered Sun who will only appear on the 10/26 and 10/27 dates. Other acts include Dying Fetus, Code Orange, and Twitching Tongues who will appear from 11/22 through 12/9. Unfortunately though, Code Orange will not appear on 11/22 in Poughkeepsie, on 12/2 in Cleveland, and 12/8 in New Haven. The band Candiria have been added to that Poughkeepsie show.
