Goldfrapp Showcase the Desert Landscape of Fuerteventura in New Video for “Everything is Never Enough”

The electronic duo Goldfrapp have released the video for their new single, “Everything Is Never Enough.” The single is from their seventh album, Silver Eye, which was released earlier this year.

The video was directed by duo member Alison, which features the bright visuals of the desert terrain, and a man running through the dessert naked.

As weird as the video might seem, Alison explains it all saying, “Fuerteventura, where mighty winds form land that grow and disappear…. Beauty and violence bond. The chair – a world he is running to and away from. I think volcanic and desert landscapes are the undefinable. They are life and death. Primal and mystical. They are a portal to the soul.”

The duo is heading out on a world tour, which kicks off on September 16th in San Francisco. Goldfrapp is also playing a special Hollywood Bowl show in LA with New Order on the 18th. The tour’s European leg starts October 19th in Belgium and runs through November 10th when the band play London’s Brixton Academy.
