Members of Decapitated Now Accused of Gang Rape on Top of Kidnapping Allegations

The continuing saga of Polish death metal band Decapitated has continued to escalate, with a new report from Loudwire which sheds light on new set of allegations against the group, with the four members of the band now being accused of gang raping a woman on their tour bus after a concert in Spokane, Washington.  Previously the group had been arrested on charges of kidnapping, but this new development in the situation could turn the entire investigation upside down. The group had already been detained by police after a show in Santa Ana California over the weekend for the incident in Washington and interviewed by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the alleged victim, she and a female friend were invited onto the band’s tour bus to have drinks after the concert. One of the women commented on feeling uncomfortable on the bus, especially when one of the band members began to grab her breasts. The women attempted to leave the bus, but after using the restroom, one of the band members began to make advances toward her, attempting to undo her belt. She attempted to push the man away (identified as lead singer Rafal Piotrowski) however he forcibly turned her around to where she was facing the bathroom mirror. According to the court documents, the woman saw each member of the band taking turns in raping her through the refelection in the mirror. The policed noted that the woman had bruising on her arms that were consistent with being restrained in addition to small abrasions on her knuckles, which seem to indicate being restrained against her will.

Guitarist Waclaw Kieltyka apparently told authorites that he saw both Piotrowski and bassist Hubert Wiecek engage in sexual activity with the woman in the bathroom but denied taking park in it. Wiecek himself seemed to refute this claim in his statement, saying that while there were women on the bus he was on the couch and could not see what was happening. Additionally he stated that no one was ever forced to come on the bus and that he does not exactly recall what happened that night.

An attorney representing the group believes that the band is innocent of the crimes they have been accused of, stating:

“We have witnesses that can testify to the fact that the accuser came to visit the band of her own free will and left on good terms. Decapitated plan to fully fight the allegations that are brought against them, and we are fully confident that the other side of this story will be heard.”

We will continue to update you on this developing story as more facts emerge.
