Four Tet Announces New Album Energy for Release This Month

Kieran Hebden is best known to fans as his stage name, Four Tet. An English post rock and electronic act who came to be as part of the band, Fridge is now establishing himself as a solo artist. Since becoming his own act, Hebden has released eight studio albums since his first solo debut with Dialogue in 1999.

He has been making a name for himself and his fans love when he shares something new. Throughout this summer, Four Tet has been doing nothing but share with his fans, the artist has shared three tracks including “Two Thousand And Seventeen,” “Planet,” and “SW9 9SL.” Today, he tweeted that new album, his ninth studio album which he titles New Energy, will be released at the end of the month.

Four Tet joins other artists by using social media to unveil news concerning his new album. Today, the artist took to Twitter in the most minimal post revealing only a select details to tease his fans.

The Twitter post includes an unassuming picture of a blank wall with a sheet of paper posted on it. Written on this sheet of paper is an album name, release date and a tracklist and nothing else. It is a simple picture, a simple tweet and just enough tease to get fans speculating.

In an interview with BBC Radio 1 earlier this summer, Four Tet made a comment that he’s been “making music for the past 10 months.” All that time in the studio, is about to pay off and fans can’t wait to hear what’s in store for them. From what fans have heard so far from Four Tet himself, the new album will dive deeper into the experimental side of electronica.
