Decapitated Arrested in Southern California After Alleged Kidnapping in Spokane, WA

All four members of the band Decapitated were arrested Friday night for allegedly kidnapping a woman who is believed to have gone to their concert in Spokane, Washington on August 31st.

According to ThePRP and The Spokesman-Review, all four members of the band (27-year-old Michael M. Lysejko, 35-year-old Waclaw J. Kieltyka, 31-year-old Rafal T. Piotrowski and 30-year-old Hubert E. Wiecek) were arrested after their show at the Observatory in Santa Ana, California.

The band is currently suspected of first degree kidnapping. The report also states that the female victim reported to the Spokane Police Department on September 1st that she was held by the band against her will following their performance at The Pin in Spokane, Washington.

The groups lawyer told The Spokesman-Review, “There is another side to this. We have witnesses that can testify to the fact that the accuser came to visit band of her own free will and left on good terms.”

The lawyer also said that the band’s arrest yesterday was not entirely necessary, offering: “I made it clear that I could get the guys up here (back To Spokane) ASAP and they would cooperate,” however he apparently did not hear back from the authorities. He said that the four are willing return to Spokane where they will soon be extradited from the Los Angeles County jail they are currently being held in.

The Special Victims Unit will investigate the case further.
