Daniel Dumile is better known as his super villian stage persona. He has gone through many stage names but is best known as MF Doom.
MF Doom is keeping his Missing Notebook Rhymes series moving as the rapper released the latest installment earlier this week. The new track, “Notebook 04,” which is part of his 15-week music series in conjunction with Adult Swim, is the fifth installment of the series. With all previous tracks, features collaborations from other artists, this time time around, Doom gets the help from another resident rapper, Kool Keith.
Adult Swim has secured the 15 unreleased tracks for the Missing Notebook Rhymes series and has continued to share one track each week. The latest notebook features some fun lyrics about Batman and the crew of Gotham.
“Notebook 04” follows “Notebook 03,” the Alchemist-produced “Doomsayer,” the KMD track “True Lightyears” (featuring DOOM and Jay Electronica), and the Sean Price collaboration “Negus.” The new track is currently available to stream through the Adult Swim website and his final version of the track will appear on the upcoming Iron Barz Ep by Justin Tyme.
With this fifth installment, fans still have ways to go before the release of Doom’s full album.
