Passion Pit, Logic, Halsey and Other Artists Come Together For Anti-Suicide Campaign “I’m Listening”

Billboard has reported that Entercom, a radio network, has launched a new anti-suicide and mental health awareness campaign called “I’m Listening.” The centerpiece of the campaign will be a radio special that will be broadcast live on Entercom’s networks on national suicide prevention day, September 10th.

The special will feature several prominent guests who will share their struggles and stories surrounding mental health. Logic, Halsey, Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic, Passion Pit’s Michael Angelakos, Jack Antonoff and many others will be featured during the two-hour long broadcast.

Ledgendary producer Bob Ezrin, known for his work with Kiss and Pink Floyd, will also participate in the campaign. Suicide prevention is a cause near, and dear to Ezrin as his oldest son committed suicide, telling Billboard that “All of us, especially the media, must be much more open and honest in our discussion of suicide and other mental health issues.”

Angelakos has been outspoken with his mental health problems, launching his mental health advocacy group earlier this year, The Wishart Group.
