Apple Music Festival Is Cancelled

Apple has decided to cancel their annual free concert in London, according to Pitchfork. The festival, originally titled the iTunes music festival, and later the Apple Music Festival attracted plenty of big name artists over the years since its inception in 2007 such as Foo Fighters, Amy Winehouse, the xx, Kendrick Lamar, Oasis, Jack White, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Vampire Weekend, Paul Simon, Beck, the Weeknd, the Chemical Brothers, the National, Lana Del Rey, Adele, and Phoenix.

Last year’s festival featured an inspired performance from Chance the Rapper along with performances from Elton John, Alicia Keys, Britney Spears, and the 1975.

Apple representatives have yet to announce if any replacement festival is in the works.
