Tim Labmesis has been teasing fans with the possibility of an As I Lay Dying revival, after rumors started swirling when the lead singer took to his Twitter and Facebook account to post one simple word, “activity.” It could mean nothing, but considering Lambesis hasn’t posted on social media for over a year and was released from prison early, it’s looking like a new As I Lay Dying is a definite possibility.

If AILD were to make a comeback, original group members would likely be replaced with new musicians, after they spoke out against Lambesis when he was convicted of “soliciting another to commit murder” two years ago. He pleaded guilty to hiring hitman to murder his then wife Meggan Lambesis, and was charged to six years in prison, but was released just after two.

Shortly after Lambesis’ imprisonment, the remaining members decided to create their own group named Wovenwar. They released their self-titled debut album in 2014 and their sophomore album entitled Honor is Dead last year. Click here to watch their newest music video for “Death to Rights.”
