Danzig Releases New Video for “Last Ride”

Heavy metal group Danzig is bringing fans major desert vibes in their newest music video for “Last Ride” from their forthcoming album entitled Black Laden Crown. In a black and white hue, an attractive hitchhiker with skeleton-like characteristics stands on the side of the road looking for a ride to “Kill City.” The five minute music video has already racked up over 60 thousand views on YouTube since being up only a few days. Check out the video for yourself below.

Danzig’s Summer 2017 tour alongside Corrosion Of Conformity and Mutoid Man will kick off in a few days, opening in Hampton Beach, NH on Sept. 7 and closing a week later in Detroit, MI.

In May the group headlined their own Blackfest, “The blackest of the black” as far as festivals go. Other artists included on the lineup were fellow metal heads Ministry and Suicidal Tendancies. During an interview for the Blackfest, lead singer Glenn Danzig made comment regarding Donald Trump’s Travel Ban executive order.

“It’s really not a travel ban. When you walk into the country, we want to see who you are and what you’re doing. Well, when I go to every country right now, they look at me and they see whether I can come in or not. And I’ve been turned away from Canada and other places before. Where’s my protest? Where’s my parade?”
