Circa Survive Set Off Fireworks in New Video for “The Amulet”

Some might say that the sky is never more beautiful than during the night, lit up by a volley of fireworks. In Circa Survive’s new video for their single “The Amulet,” the band puts this hypothesis to the test.

The track itself is a moody, atmospheric rocker right up the alley of Circa Survive, that’s also punctuated by moments of lilting melodic beauty that is never absent in any good emo, post-hardcore track. The video is essentially the perfect accompaniment, with frontman Anthony Green belting the track while a fusillade of fireworks soar across the atmosphere.

To get the clip to such an impressive level, the band actually shot the video at a fireworks convention in, unsurprisingly, Fargo, North Dakota.

“The Amulet” is the title track to Circa Survive’s upcoming sixth LP, which will be released by Hopeless Records on September 22nd. The Amulet is currently available to preorder here.

In support of the upcoming record, the band will be touring this fall with Thrice, CHON and more on this forthcoming North American run.
