Sparks Release Stop-Motion Video for “Edith Piaf (Said It Better Than Me)”

The Californian brothers Ron and Russell Mael, also known as Sparks,  just released their music video for “Edith Piaf (Said It Better Than Me),” the next single from their upcoming album Hippopotamus, which is set to drop September 8 via BMG.

The video was directed and designed by animator Joseph Wallace. Viewers might be reminded of “The Nightmare Before Christmas” or another similar movie when watching this captivating video.

“Edith Piaf (Said It Better Than Me)” comes after the release of the title track and “What The Hell Is It This Time.” All three of the songs are available for download and streaming, and the full album is on  iTunes for pre-order.

Sparks is also heading out on tour this fall. They’ll be in Europe all of September, and then head to North America for seven shows throughout October. Also check out the track list for their album below.
