The War On Drugs Perform on the Schuylkill River In New Video for “Pain”

The War On Drugs have released a video for their song, “Pain.” The black and white video was directed by Emmett Malloy, which features the band playing the song on a large freight carrier, while cutting to shots of the gorgeous Philadelphia city life, which happens to be the band hometown.

On top of “Pain”, The War On Drugs also released a song called, “Strangest Thing”. Both songs will be included on the band’s upcoming album, A Deeper Understanding, which is coming out on August 25th. These songs follows the release of “Holding On” and its music video.

The War On Drugs are also heading on a huge North American tour this September.
