Mempho Music Festival Announces Inaugural 2017 Lineup Featuring Cage the Elephant, Benjamin Booker and Anderson .Paak and the Free Nationals

A brand new festival is headed to Memphis this fall. The Mempho Music Festival will be the first major music festival held at the Shelby Farms Park. Grammy award winning rock band Cage the Elephant, Anderson .Paak, the Cold War Kids, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, and the Free Nationals are among the artists set to perform at the two-day Memphis concert festival this fall. The new concerts will take place on October 6th and the 7th.

According to The Commercial Appeal, Concert organizers say they are aiming for an attendance goal around the 10,000 to 15,000 range. Tickets are on sale now.

The festival headliner Cage the Elephant are playing few other shows throughout North America along with The Mempho Music Festival in support of their 2015 album Tell Me I’m Pretty.

Another big act performing at the festival is Anderson Paak. He has been performing throughout 2016 in support of his Grammy nominated album, Malibu. Paak also released a collaborative album with Knxwledge titled, Yes Lawd!.
