Gojira Announces Fall 2017 Tour Dates Along With Code Orange and Torche

The French progressive metal band, Gojira have announced details of a U.S. tour that will begin to rock stages starting October 2nd at the House of Blues in Cleveland, Ohio. The tour will make its final rounds in San Diego, California on October 19th. The tour may be short but no doubt will be fueled with memorable head banging moments. 

A memorable headline tour indeed, Gojira has found it’s support with special guests Torche and Code Orange. Code Orange is also supporting band, The Dillinger Escape Plan with their farewell tour.

Gojira, is already underway touring with Metallica on their Worldwired tour. Once that wraps up, they will play a handful of festival shows here and there, and then a special one night event with Converge that will be held at Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn, New York on September 28th. Then, after all that is played out, the metal band will embarked on their very own head banging tour.

Their record, Magma, released in 2016 marked the first time French band held the #1 spot on the Billboard’s Hard Rock albums chart in its nine-year existence. The album also earned the band’s its first ever Grammy nominations for “Best Metal Performance” for their track “Silvera” and  “Best Rock album.”

Not only did the band rack up nominations, they earned career-high chart positions all over the globe including Top 10s in France, Canada, Switzerland, Austria, Finland and Norway. 

Tickets for the new headline dates are available today and will follow by a Spotify pre-sale on Wednesday, August 9 at 10:00 a.m. A final venue/promoter pre-sale will begin Thursday, August 10 at 10:00 a.m. For all the dates, fans can buy tickets when they go on sale Friday, August 11 at 10:00 a.m.
