Shredders Release Hard Hitting New Song “Xanthrax”

An electrifying new track entitled “Xanthrax” has hit the music sphere and the men behind it are none other than the Shredders, a new hip hop group composed of Doomtree’s Lazerbeak, P.O.S., Paper Tiger, and Sims. The track is made up of complex beats with a techo electric flair made by Paper Tiger and Lazerbeak, with lyrical additions by P.O.S. and Sims that are in your face and don’t skip a beat. The Shredders debuted their new project last month with a three-song EP including “Ions,” “Cult 45,” and “Wolfs.”

The group formed shortly after the entire Doomtree gang decided to take a short hiatus to focus on their solo music, but made sure to assure fans that the OG seven members aren’t going anywhere. In fact, Doomtree just performed a headlining slot at the Wicker Park Fest on July 29.

Venturing into his solo career, the rapper P.O.S. released a cryptic new video for “Born A Snake,” at the beginning of this month that isn’t fit for the lighthearted. He will also be going on three month tour this fall beginning this September in Salt Lake City, UT.

SIms has also been staying considerably busy, as he released an album entitled More Than Ever at the end of last year and dropped music video for the track “What They Don’t Know,” in January.

UPDATE (10/24): Shredders have released a video for “Xanthrax.”
