DOOM and Adult Swim Team Up to Release The Missing Notebook Rhymes Over the Next 15 Weeks

On Monday Aug. 7, a programming block on Cartoon Network called Adult Swim, received a folder from hip-hop super villain DOOM a.k.a. MF DOOM, entitled The Missing Notebook Rhymes which contained 15 different tracks. Each track is referred to as a “notebook,” and is a part of a collection of music from upcoming DOOM albums, or collaborations with other artists. Want to listen to the content of these notebooks? You’ll have to wait about seven days in between releases, as one notebook will drop every week via Adult Swim’s website or GasDrawls.com, where you can also check up on DOOM’s most recent activity.

Today’s release and the first track from the 15 notebooks is entitled “Notebook 00 – Negus,” a song by rapper Sean Price featuring DOOM. Stay tuned for the contents of the mysterious 14 notebooks.

DOOM urges anyone with information on the whereabouts of the missing notebooks to contacts Gasdrawls.com immediately. The last time they were seen was seven years ago at the METALFACE LA when DOOM was denied entry into the United States.

A few months ago Adult Swim announced their singles program which follows the same format as the missing notebooks, except new single from various different artists is released every seven days for 52 straight weeks. Click here to listen to one of the tracks released by the singles program entitled “Frostbite” by Tanya Tagaq.
