Peter and the Test Tube Babies’ singer has been denied entry to the U.S. for impersonating the U.S. President Donald Trump.
A Facebook post was released through the band’s account posting a picture of Donald Trump holding up a note saying that he has banned the frontman, Peter Bywaters. The post is shown below.
According to Loudwire, Bywaters told Team Rock “I had only been there 30 seconds when the customs and border control guard swung his screen round and said: ‘Is this you?'” The video the artist saw was from the German tour that took place last year as Donald Trump “smoking a fake joint”. The video can be watched below. The artist continued saying “From there it all went down hill. Six hours later I was forcibly escorted to my seat on the plane.”
During this six hour process, Bywaters was interrogated, had his phone and passport confiscated, fingerprinted, DNA swapped, photographed and forced to make a sworn statement before taken to a flight back home. During this flight he was considered to be a deportee.
In response to the whole situation, the artist said “Oh well, I expect to still be the singer of Peter & The Test Tube Babies by the end of the year,” Bywaters says. “Will Trump still be president by the end of the summer?”
