A day after headlining Panorama Music Festival, Nine Inch Nails has something even more incredible in store for New York City’s denizens. According to Stereogum, the band has announced a last-minute show at Webster Hall tonight (7/31). Opening the show will be experimental electronic artist Tobacco, making for one of the best bills of the year (if even for just one night). Not surprisingly considering the size of Webster Hall and the popularity of Nine Inch Nails, tickets are already sold out.
Nine Inch Nails released their newest EP ADD VIOLENCE earlier this month, and soon after its announcement it was discovered that the extended play is continuation of their Year Zero LP. In addition to headlining at Panorama Music Festival this weekend, the band played across the country at Los Angeles’ biggest music festival, FYF Fest.
This isn’t the first time this month that Nine Inch Nails has announced a special surprise show. A few weeks ago, the band announced an “early access” show at the last minute at the Rabobank Center in (of all places) Bakersfield, CA where they debuted new music from their new EP and also unveiled a haunting cover of the David Bowie song “I Can’t Give Everything Away.”
