Dead Cross Releases Cockfighting Footage in New Video for “Obedience School”

Hardcore punk band Dead Cross featuring Faith No More frontman Mike Patton, Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo, The Locust’s Justin Pearson, and Michael Crain of Retox, just released a new music video directed by Dennis Bersales for their song “Obedience School,” and viewers discretion is definitely advised. Not in the NSFW type of way, but in the beware of animal cruelty type of way. For almost three minutes the video shows raw footage of actual cockfights in the Philippians, a completely legal and billion dollar business on the other side of the world. Check out the video for yourself down below.

The new song stems from their upcoming self-titled album, fit with ten headbanging tracks including “Grave Slave,” and “Shillelagh” the first singles released from Dead Cross. Last month they released completely animated music video for their song “Seizure Desist,” the opening song for the album.

Next month the super-group will be embarking on a month long tour that will trek across the United States, starting in Santa Ana, CA and ending in Denver, CO. Click here to see the entire tour itinerary.
