CRSSD Festival Announces 2017 Lineup Featuring Richie Hawtin, Cut Copy and Chromeo

CRSSD Festival is back for a fall edition this year at San Diego’s Waterfront Park on September 30 and October 1, following a fantastic spring edition.

Some of the quite notable artists from the initial lineup announcement include artists like Chromeo, Australia’s RÜFÜS DU SOL, Cut Copy, and Richie Hawtin. But these are only a fraction of the 42 acts confirmed to perform at the sixth edition of this proudly outsider electronic music marathon.

CRSSD Festival was debuted in San Diego back in 2015 with two editions per year as a focused showcase for left-of-center house and techno performers.

The first CRSSD Festival was created in conjunction by FNGRS CRSSD and Goldenvoice, the Los Angeles based Coachella promotion company, but each successive edition of CRSSD has been put on solely by FNGRS CRSSD. The opening day of the first festival drew a capacity audience of 15,000, and a majority of the subsequent editions have all drawn sell-out or nearly sell-out crowds.

The lineup for the 21-and-up festival additionally boasts an international flavor, including English DJ and producer Mura Masa, French house music star FKJ (short for French Kiwi Juice), German techno DJ Marcel Dettmann, Russian DJ Julia Govor, Bulgarian DJ KINK and Vienna-based producer and singer-songwriter SOHN.

Some CRSSD Fetsival headliners from the past have included Flume, who performed not long after his 2017 Grammy Award win and pioneering DJ Giorgio Moroder, best known for his work with Donna Summer, Blondie and David Bowie.

Tickets are available here.
