Liam Gallagher has released another single from his upcoming debut solo album, As You Were, the dreamy “Chinatown,” as reported by Spin.com. The song features many of the sonic details that Gallagher is known for, incorporating British indie rock, psychedelia, and hard rock along with a moving vocal delivery.
The track is the third single to be released from the record, which sees the former Oasis frontman venturing out on his first ever solo release and incorporating a myriad of musical influences from his lengthy career. The record was produced by Greg Kurstin, known for his work on the Adele smash hit “Hello” and will be arriving on October 6th via Warner Bros. Records.
Gallagher will be embarking of a tour of North America this fall in support of As You Were. The record will be released on October 6th and is now available for pre-order on Gallagher’s website. Fans who purchase tickets for the tour will also receive digital or physical copy of As You Were. “Chinatown” is embedded below:
