Luna @ Park West (11/2)

The 90’s are definitely making a comeback.  Luna, the American atmospheric/indie pop/rock band from the ever-popular era has reunited.  The band, affectionately given the title of “the best band you’ve never heard of” by Rolling Stone will perform at Park West on the Chicago stop of their tour.  The experimental rock group reunited for a string of shows in Spain in 2015; it had been ten years since the quartet had played a show together.

The group’s dreamlike music with beachy guitar picking on singles like “California” creates a subdued happiness.  While it’s mostly upbeat, there’s a hint of sadness in the music (think a more contemplative 311).  Luna will be at Park West November 2nd – ticket information below.

Fun Fact: Band member Britta Phillips was the singing voice of Jem!
