Ruby The Hatchet Release Organ-Driven New Song “Killer”

New Jersey psychedelic stoner metal band and Converse Rubber Tracks x MetalSucks alumnus Ruby the Hatchet have announced their third LP, called Planetary Space Child. Practically every aspect of that sentence appeals itself to a very specific audience, and anyone that is part of that demographic is sure to love this upcoming record.

The album will be released August 25 this year via Tee Pee, and its lead single has already been released. “KILLER” features some pretty prominent organ harmonies that hold up the groove metal riffs that act as the skeleton to the track.

Even the album cover to the upcoming record shouts “extreme,” with a nude lady rocketing through space like a comet alongside two oxen, a skull-faced devil figure, and an alien merman holding a spear.

Ruby the Hatchet has previously been featured at the Zakk Sabbath Halloween Night, and performed at this year’s phenomenal Roadburn festival in the Netherlands earlier this April.
