Washed Out Announces Summer 2017 Tour Dates

Singer/Songwriter and record producer Ernest Greene A.K.A. Washed Out will be packing up the tour bus this summer after the artist announced his upcoming Summer 2017 tour dates. Washed out will kick off the tour in July in Norfolk, VA and make their way through Los Angeles, Denver, CO, and Toronto, ON before finishing the trek in the United States’ capitol Washington D.C.. The tour will come in celebration of his newest album Mister Mellow, due later this month on June 30. Check below for the tour itinerary complete with dates and venues. The new album Mister Mellow will come with a complete visual component to compliment the music, filled with all kinds of animation like hand-drawn, claymation, collage and stop motion.

According to a press release describing the album, it is “Further moving away from the synthesizer-driven sounds of his early work.”

Fans have without a doubt appreciated the unique sound Washed Out brings to the table already, and will continue to support him as Ernest Greene as his sound evolves. He has already released a track from Mister Mellow entitled “Get Lost,” that MXDWN writer Matt Matasci called “a heavy club dynamic while still retaining enough of the laid-back pop style that made them forerunners in the short-lived chillwave explosion.” Click here to check it out.
