Kings of Leon @ Shoreline Ampitheatre 8/24

A little bit of Nashville is coming our way this summer! The Kings of Leon will be hitting up the bay and will be playing the Shoreline Ampitheatre. The band will be performing on August 24th alongside opening act Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats.

The rockers of Kings of Leon came together during the year of 1999 and hit mainstream success in 2006 with their hit On Call and later in 2008 with their mega hit Sex On Fire. Recently, the band released their seventh studio album Walls in 2016. That album is known for the songs Waste a Moment, Reverend, Around the World, Find Me, and the title song WALLS.  My personal favorite from their newest album is the song Find Me. Previous to that the band has released six other studio albums, five EPs, and one live album. Their biggest hits include Use Somebody, Closer, Notion, Radioactive, Wait For Me, Manhattan, and Knocked Up.The band’s style is classic rock. It has the vibes of Creedence Clearwater Revival with a pop and blues qualities. The band is mostly composed of family, so their chemistry is clearly off the charts as a live act.

Fans of The Strokes, Franz Ferdinand, and The Killers will have a soft spot for this show. Kings of Leon are a laid back bunch with some killer talent. Let go of some of that pocket money and grab yourself a ticket, ‘cause this is gonna be a lot of fun!
