Desert Daze will return to Joshua Tree, California this fall on October 12-15, and once again it has an incredible lineup. This will be the sixth annual event and this year headliners include acts such as Spiritualized, Courtney Barnett & Kurt Vile, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Eagles of Death Metal and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.
Last year’s event took place in the same location and had appearances from Suicide, The Brian Jonestown, Massacre, The Sonicsm, Deerhunter, and Boris.

UPDATE (8/1): Desert Daze has added a slew of exciting bands to its lineup. Artists include sludge-metal legends Sleep, who will play their album Holy Mountain in full, Ty Segall, Cigarettes After Sex, BADBADNOTGOOD, and the Gories. Of course, the biggest news of all is the announcement of the festival headliner, none other than proto-punk legends and all-around incredible performer Iggy Pop. Other recent additions to the festival include Velvet Underground legend John Cale, Panda Bear, the Thurston Moore Group and many others.
