Vance Joy @ House of Blues (8/4)

Vance Joy – born James Gabriel Keogh – is an Australian singer/songwriter best known for his smash hit song “Riptide”.  He is set to perform in Chicago during Lollapalooza weekend.

The lead single from his debut EP God Loves You When You’re Dancing, “Riptide”, catapulted Joy to fame throughout the world.  The song has been his most successful single thus far and currently holds the record for most weeks on the ARIA Singles Chart at 120 consecutive weeks.  Joy was a supporting act for superstar Taylor Swift’s 1989 Wolrd Tour and opened for every show across North America, the UK and Australia.  His musical style is a seamless blend of country and folk with a tinge of pop-like hooks.  Dream Your Life Away, his debut album was released in 2013.

Vance Joy returns to Lollapalooza and will supplement his festival performance with a set at the House of Blues August 4th as part of the Official Aftershow.
